“Disaster Preparedness for the Whole Community”

National Preparedness Month (NPM) is recognized each September to promote family and community disaster planning now and throughout the year. In anticipation of this annual event, please join us for a discussion on how individuals with access and functional needs, including seniors, those with disabilities, families and friends can become personally prepared for an emergency or disaster.
Remember...disasters don't wait! Learn how to make your personal plan TODAY!

Attention all artists!!
The Ocean County Office of Senior Services is hosting a virtual art exposition where artists 60 years of age and older can have their artwork displayed on our Facebook page “The Gallery”. The theme for this year’s art exposition is celebrating “Communities of Strength” which is from the celebration of Older American’s Month (OAM) by The Administration for Community Living. Whether you want to create a new piece or already have something you want to showcase, submit a photo of your artwork to cganoploulos@co.ocean.nj.us

This is not a contest, and everyone who sends in their work will have an opportunity to have their work displayed on our Facebook page.
Deadline for submission is August 1,2021.

The Board of Trustees for HCS Phase II is asking your support in petitioning the State of NJ Legislators to pass Senate bill S-3584 and Assembly bill A-4979 into law. When passed, these bills will protect Senior Communities and their individual board members from Civil Lawsuits. This proposed legislation rightfully gives immunity to Senior Community Associations provided they act in good faith.

Please click on the link below to sign the petition, or stop at the Phase II Clubhouse to do so. ALSO, share with as many resident and safety-minded citizens as you can.

The Board of Trustees for HCS Phase II is asking your support in petitioning the Township of Toms River to make a much-needed change to ensure the safety of all Phase I and Phase II residents. We propose that the STOP signs at the intersection of Mt. Carmel Blvd. and Yorktowne Blvd. be changed, so that drivers on Yorktowne Blvd. will be required to stop, and those on Mt. Carmel Blvd. will have the right-of-way. There have been countless accidents at this corner, mostly due to the bends in the road on Yorktowne Blvd. on either side of Mt. Carmel Blvd. Also, requiring drivers heading west on Yorktowne Blvd. to stop at Mt. Carmel Blvd. will alleviate the over-abundance of speeding, especially by those non-residents who are just 'cutting through'.

Please click on the link below to sign the petition, or stop at the Phase II Clubhouse to do so. ALSO, share with as many resident and safety-minded citizens as you can.

About Us

Holiday City was incorporated August 1967 and is one of the first senior communities in ocean county. To live here you must be fifty-five (55) years of age or older. We have a large clubhouse, swimming pool, two large lakes, and forty-five acres of common grounds throughout. There are a number of clubs and events going on all the time so there is always something to do. We are conveniently located near any number of shopping areas, and for those who may not drive, a bus comes through the village for your convenience.
